Information you give us
When you request a quote or arrange an event, the information you provide can include your name, organisation, email, phone number, event date and times, venue or delivery address, selected rentals and event requirements. Our quote form also includes referral and delivery details and a separate permission field for text messages.
We use these details to respond to your enquiry, prepare and manage a quote or booking, coordinate your event and follow up about that service. Please provide only information relevant to your event. Avoid including guests’ sensitive personal details in open-text fields.
Some planning and feedback tools prepare an email draft on your device. The draft is sent to us only when you send it through your email app. The rental quote form submits information through our booking provider, InflatableOffice.
Information from using the website
Our website and its service providers receive technical information needed to deliver pages and operate the service, such as your IP address, browser/device information, requested pages and request times. Cookies and browser storage may support the cart, form/session functions and your privacy choice.
Campaign links may include source labels, such as a campaign name, so an enquiry can be associated with the link you followed. A source label is not a request for your name or contact details.
Cookies and your choices
Essential website functions remain available without optional Google Ads measurement. This site asks before loading its Google Ads tag. If you allow measurement, Google can receive page URLs, IP/device information, advertising identifiers and information about interactions to measure advertising. Advertising personalisation is disabled in this site’s tag settings.
Your choice is stored in this browser for six months. You can change it here or through “Cookie choices” in the footer. Withdrawing permission stops future loading of this tag after the page reloads; it does not undo information already sent. You can also clear existing cookies in your browser settings.
Google Maps/address tools and website hosting or content-delivery services are separate from this optional advertising tag and can receive technical request information when used. Browser controls can restrict cookies, though blocking essential storage may affect cart or form behaviour. See how Google uses information from partner sites and Google’s ad privacy controls.
Service providers and other websites
InflatableOffice supports the rental catalogue, cart and quote/booking workflow. WordPress and Elementor provide the website presentation. Hosting, email and technical service providers also process information needed to deliver their services. If a payment step takes you to a payment provider, review the notice shown there before entering payment details; do not email card information to us.
Provider processing may take place outside British Columbia or Canada, including in the United States, where different laws can apply. Read InflatableOffice’s privacy notice for its own practices. Links to social networks, Fun Times Casinos or other websites take you to services with their own privacy notices.
Your information and privacy requests
British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act gives individuals rights to request access to their personal information, ask for corrections and raise concerns about its handling. Consent can be withdrawn, subject to legal or contractual limits; doing so may affect services that require that information.
To make a request or raise a concern, contact BC Event Makers — Privacy enquiries at fun@bceventmakers.ca or 604-589-4386. Identify the request and how to reach you. Please do not send identity documents with your first message. If further verification is needed, the next steps can be arranged directly.
If a concern remains unresolved, the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC explains how to make a complaint.
Event photographs
The gallery shows photographs of past event setups. If you have a privacy concern about an image, email us the page link and identify the photograph so we can review your request. Please avoid sending additional personal information about other people.
Retention and security
Booking records, correspondence and technical data serve different purposes and can have different retention requirements. Applicable privacy, accounting and other legal requirements can affect whether information must be retained or can be removed. Contact us about a particular record or deletion request.
No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Use the booking form for event details and contact us to arrange an appropriate way to share anything sensitive.
About this notice
This notice covers the BC Event Makers website where it appears and enquiries made through it. It does not replace a separate notice from a third-party service or the terms of an event booking. Updates will be reflected in the revision date at the top of this page.
